The Best (Remixed) by Zelma Stone (although we’re losing her to Los Angeles), features remixes of three songs from their 2021 EP The Best by Oakland’s Madeline Kenney and Meernaa plus Huntington Beach artist Ginger Root. Ginger Root adds a funky Boz Scaggs “Lowdown”-inspired low end to Zelma’s smokey vocals on “You’re Now 2”. Limited edition cassette available via LA’s Anxiety Blanket Records.
