This is fun. Emotional Response—the Cottonwood, AZ record label that has released all sorts of great alternative and indie pop music over the years—just shared Typical Girls Volume 6, the latest in the compilation series “featuring the finest in current punk, indie, darkwave female fronted music from all corners of the globe.” If you didn’t already know, one of the best corners for this type of music is the Bay Area, with the comp including songs by local artists Fake Fruit, Naked Roommate, Cindy, Body Double, and PROVOKE.
