Seasons by Con Brio

“Hands up on the rollercoaster.”

San Francisco neo-soul band Con Brio, a perpetually evolving music collective, celebrates their new keyboard player AJ McKinley and vocalist Sarah Clarke with four-song EP Seasons. The lead track features Clarke’s stunning vocal range on the climactic chorus, over a full band sound complete with organ and brass section. “Heart on the Dance Floor” works on two levels, encouraging self-care, but also reminding us there’s always room on the dance floor, now that we’re all ready to get back out there and enjoy live music again. Heavy grooves on “Candlelight Lover” bring gravity to the album, while the band slows down the tempo on the closing track “Rarely Seen,” with a rocking guitar solo to bring it all crashing down. The album includes three lively video performances and an animated adventure for the final song featuring two dogs falling in love.
