Hannah D’Amato of Fake Fruit and Rob I. Miller of Blues Lawyer started leftfield disco outfit Flex TMG as a creative outlet during the pandemic and released their first EP Whisper Swish last week. Hannah’s vocals, both in Spanish and English, project a potent mix of confidence and disaffection over the Rob’s funky, fuzzed-out bass. Add in booty-shaking synths, ecstatic guitar grooves, and cowbells galore, and you’ve got a recipe for a good time.
You can pick up a 12″ direct from Domestic Departure Records.
