Record breaking rainfall, flooded restaurants and homes, endlessly delayed flights. Maybe you’re hungover after last night’s festivities. Lots of good reasons to stay home today and put the new Galore record on and forget about the world outside. On the San Francisco band’s new EP, Blush, they keep their winning jangly and melodic pop formula but layer on a more artful droney sound. There’s enough sunshine on tape here to peek through the fog, though, encouraging repeat listens.
